Apple has released the iPhone OS 3.2 SDK (software development kit) and code hounds are shuffling through the update looking for any news regarding a potential new feature or new model. It seems as if they have discovered not one, but two new devices, along with the code name for the iPad. Within the simulator are folders representing specific iPhone OS models. They’ve found “K48″ which represents the iPad. They’ve also discovered the “N89″ which they believe is the next generation iPhone. Previous versions were named “M68, N82 and N88″. Nothing beyond that information is available.
Among other things, there was also a new model codenamed “N80″, which is likely and iPod touch.
We know it’s there and it’s being tested in some form or fashion. Now, when can we have it.
